(May 1, 2026)– The results are in for Coast Observer’s “2026 Covey Awards,” which recognizes the “best of the best” on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the casino, restaurant and entertainment industries. Each year, award winners are voted on by Gulf Coast residents and visitors and the top three in each category are invited to the awards ceremony, where the winners are revealed.
This year, readers of the Coast Observer selected MGM Resorts International’s Beau Rivage Resort & Casino as No. 1 on the Gulf Coast in 10 categories, including Favorite Casino and Best Hotel, which was announced in a gala ceremony on April 21.
