LAS VEGAS (August 7, 2026) — This September, Ark Las Vegas Restaurant Corp. will unveil a top-to-bottom transformation of America at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, a favorite destination for 24-hour dining on the Las Vegas Strip for nearly three decades. Trading nostalgia for a bold new era of contemporary Americana, the transformation spans a full remodel, a new menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night selections and a lineup of over-the-top cocktails.

"America has always been a home base on the Las Vegas Strip, whether you're visiting from across the globe or working nearby and craving something exceptional at any hour," said Keith Eure, senior vice president of Ark Las Vegas Restaurant Corp. "This renovation was about evolving that experience through new design, including a massive interactive map of the United States and diverse cuisine that captures the best of what America has to offer."

The nearly 9,800-square-foot transformation by globally renowned architectural firm Zebra reimagines America from the ground up, trading the diner's familiar red, white and blue for a richer, more sophisticated American palette of warm terracotta, deep walnut and jewel-toned teal. Soaring ceilings and a dramatic faux skylight bathe the space in light designed to evoke the feel of natural sunlight and echo the original America Restaurant in New York City. Underfoot, checkerboard tile and warm wood flooring set a retro-American foundation.

At the heart of the dining room, America's original sculptural map of the United States is reborn as a dynamic projection canvas powered by a state-of-the-art mapping system that transforms the piece throughout the day and night. Nearby, a bold new mural of the Statue of Liberty's face reframes the restaurant's iconic "America" logo, anchoring the room with a fresh, graphic take on a familiar American icon. Vibrant, large-scale artwork in fiery reds and oranges lines the walls throughout, punctuating the dining room and bar with color and energy.

Beyond the redesign, America continues to serve the role it has long played on the Las Vegas Strip. As one of the last remaining full-service, 24-hour restaurants, it welcomes locals, hospitality professionals and visitors alike around the clock. Located steps from T-Mobile Arena, the restaurant remains a convenient stop before or after concerts and other live events, while HDTVs throughout the dining room and bar make it a destination for sports viewing any time of day.

Executive Chef Brandon Flores has developed more than a dozen new dishes, elevating America’s diner roots without losing what guests love most. New selections include seared salmon with green beans, cauliflower purée, frisée and sherry shallot vinaigrette; cauliflower steak with tomato confit, radish, crispy shallots and balsamic vinaigrette; bacon mac-n-cheese with an artisanal cheese blend and crispy herb crust; and a wood-fired flatbread topped with prosciutto and arugula, olive oil and balsamic glaze.

Longtime favorites remain at the heart of the menu, including the oversized "3-Pounder" giant pancake; the N.Y. State of Mind breakfast with two eggs any style, bacon or sausage and a choice of sides, steak and eggs with prime New York strip; the signature 10-ounce ribeye special with seasonal vegetables and a baked potato; and the Philly cheesesteak loaded with thinly sliced, sautéed ribeye with peppers, onions, mushroom, provolone and cheese sauce.

Dessert is where America has always gone big. Standouts include the tableside banana split with strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice creams and all the classic fixings and the birthday cake milkshake loaded with vanilla custard, birthday cake and a jelly-filled doughnut.

The drink menu brings the same larger-than-life energy. America's Biggest Mimosa arrives loaded with JP Chenet sparkling wine, orange juice, strawberries and orange slices, while the Strawberry Shortcake Loop mixes Skyy vodka, cream, Fruity Pebbles, cranberry and fresh lemon in a doughnut-shaped glass topped with cotton candy.

America's famed Hero Happy Hour will continue to honor members of the military and first responders with incredible values daily from 3 to 6 p.m. and again from 3 to 6 a.m. Specials include $1 coffee, $4 Budweiser and Bud Light, $8 Flecha Azul Reposado margaritas and 20 percent off all food.

Remarkably, the renovation is being completed in phases, section by section, allowing America to remain open around the clock throughout the process.

Located at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, 3790 S. Las Vegas Blvd., America is open 24 hours a day, with reservations available through OpenTable. More information is available at AmericaLV.com and on Instagram and Facebook.
