Felipe Esparza is a Mexican-American comedian, actor and podcaster known for his irreverent, working class, “everyman” style of stand-up comedy, his laid back attitude and his familiar phrase, “what’s up fool?” Despite his self-proclaimed laziness, over the last 30 years, Felipe has been very busy, managing to put together five stand-up comedy specials for Netflix and HBO (including one in Spanish), hosting three different popular, weekly podcasts – one of which has been around for 12 years, winning NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2010 and having recurring roles on series such as “The Eric Andrew Show,” “Superstore” and “Victor and Valentino.” He’s also had appearances in films including “Blue Beetle” with Xolo Mariduena and George Lopez, “You People” with Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill, “Guest House” with Pauly Shore and “7th & Union” with Omar Chaparro. Felipe is currently on the last leg of his “At My Leisure” world tour, which wraps in 2026. He continues to tour theaters and comedy clubs all over the world and can’t wait to get home to his wife and dogs.
Additional performances for the 2026 Aces of Comedy series include Tim Allen and George Lopez. Tickets are available for purchase now at mgmgrand.com, ticketmaster.com or at any MGM Resorts box office.
