Fifth Hope From John Ellis Benefit

A night of Hope and Healing

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino will host the Fifth Hope from John Ellis Silent Auction & Benefit, A Night of Hope and Healing, on Saturday, March 21, 2026. For the first time, this year’s event will officially benefit ICP Care, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP).

Now in its fifth biennial year, Hope From John Ellis continues its mission to raise vital funds, increase awareness, improve care for individuals affected by ICP, and provide meaningful resources to families navigating pregnancy complications and loss.

The benefit was founded by Elisabeth Naff, HR Engagement & Communications Partner at Beau Rivage, who turned her personal tragedy into a mission of advocacy and hope. Naff’s son, John Ellis, passed away in 2017 at 35 weeks gestation due to Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy, a rare liver condition that occurs late in pregnancy. In honor of her son’s life, Naff created this event to raise awareness and support other families facing similar circumstances.

“It’s my goal to educate others about Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy, a condition I knew nothing about until it affected my family,” Naff said. “Most importantly, I hope this event provides comfort, community, and hope to families walking a journey no one should have to walk alone.”

This year marks the first time the event will directly benefit ICP Care, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting, educating, and empowering families affected by ICP. ICP Care provides patient support, raises public and medical awareness, advances research, advocates on Capitol Hill for improved women’s healthcare policies, and works to improve healthcare practices to ensure safer pregnancy outcomes and prevent stillbirth.

Previous Hope From John Ellis benefits have raised more than $50,000 and funded four cuddle cots donated to local hospitals, including USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Providence Hospital in Mobile, and Singing River Gulfport Hospital.

Naff credits Beau Rivage Resort & Casino for its continued support in hosting the biennial fundraiser and fostering a culture that encourages community engagement and acts of service.

The gala evening will feature a candle lighting ceremony honoring angel babies, a silent auction, live entertainment, and a Southern-style buffet including two (2) beverages. Tickets are $50 for adults (21+) and $20 for children (ages 4 and older).
