MGM National Harbor to be Presidential Sponsor of 2016 Taste of DC

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., (October 5, 2016) – MGM National Harbor, the luxury casino resort opening December 8 in Prince George’s County, will be the Presidential Sponsor of Washington, D.C.’s  Taste of DC, the region’s largest food, beer and wine festival. This annual, two-day culinary adventure, which attracts more than 50,000 attendees, takes place Saturday, October 8 from 1 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. along four city blocks on “America’s Main Street”, historic Pennsylvania Avenue, between 3rd  and 7th Streets, NW.

MGM National Harbor to Sponsor 2016 King Street Art Festival

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., (September 13, 2016)MGM National Harbor, the luxury casino resort opening later this year in Prince George’s County, will be the Premier Sponsor of King Street Art Festival, presented by Howard Alan Events. This annual arts and cultural event, which attracts more than 50,000 residents and visitors, will take place Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Festival booths will line King Street between Washington and Union streets, and feature more than six blocks of artwork by more than 250 artists from the U.S. and abroad. Admission is free.

MGM National Harbor Celebrates Hispanic Culture and Heritage

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., (September 15, 2016)MGM National Harbor, the world-class casino resort opening later this year in Prince George’s County, MD, has signed on to  sponsor  the 35th annual Hispanic Festival held at Lane Manor Park in Adelphi, Maryland. The celebration, hosted by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation, attracts more than 15,000 residents and visitors each year. The Hispanic Festival will be held Sunday, September 18 from noon until 6 p.m.

MGM National Harbor Announces the Establishment of a New Investment Opportunity for the Maryland Community

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., (July 18, 2016) – MGM National Harbor, the $1.4 billion luxury resort on the Potomac River developed by MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), announces the establishment of a new investment opportunity open to residents[1] of Prince George’s County, Maryland (the “County”) and to Minority Business Enterprises[2] located in the County and State of Maryland (the “Aspire Program”). The offering is being made by Aspire Holdings, LLC (“Aspire”), the newly formed entity that will own certain non-voting interests in MGM National Harbor, pursuant to Rule 506(c) of Regulation D under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”).  The property is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2016, as the newest addition to the MGM Resorts International portfolio of world-renowned resort and entertainment destinations. 

MGM National Harbor Employment Center Opens

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., (June 20, 2016) – MGM National Harbor, the destination resort, which opened in Prince George’s County, Md. in the fourth quarter of this year, today announced it has completed its $4 million refurbishment of the once-vacant Thomas Addison Elementary School and reopened it as the MGM National Harbor Employment Center. The resort’s executives celebrated its grand opening with state and local officials, including Maryland State Senator C. Anthony Muse and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker.
