BILOXI, Miss. (January 2025) – The Main Event of Beau Rivage Heater ended with chip-leader William Oertling from New Orleans, La. declared winner. The tournament’s Main Event saw 1,755 poker players from around the country competing for their share of the $1,842,750 prize pool.
“We welcomed over 12,000 poker players and paid nearly $6 million in prize money during this year’s Heater,” said Beau Rivage Poker Room Manager Adam Nash. “The record-breaking tournament continues to prove itself as the premier poker event in the South.”
The highly anticipated 11th annual Beau Rivage Heater opened on Jan. 3 and featured back-to-back $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool opening events, a $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool Main Event, and over $4,000,000 in Guaranteed Prize Pools throughout the 11-event schedule. Mississippi native Cody Stanford took home the overall series with first place in event 2 the Triple Stack and third place in the Main Event, taking home a total of $348,923.
