LAS VEGAS – The Vault, Bellagio Resort & Casino’s exclusive cocktail club, is partnering with Tequila Casa Dragones, the world’s number one ultra-premium sipping tequila, for a three-night-only cocktail pop-up during Cinco de Mayo weekend, May 3 through 5. The one-of-a-kind event will feature two of Mexico’s most acclaimed bartenders – Ana Herrera of Handshake Speakeasy (#3 on World’s 50 Best Bars, 2023) and José Luis León of Licorería Limantour (#7 on World’s 50 Best Bars, 2023) – crafting Tequila Casa Dragones-based libations, with cocktail demonstrations and conversations around their craft.

“Welcoming these internationally heralded bartenders to The Vault further elevates our reputation as a destination for innovative tastes and experiences,” says MGM Resorts International Executive Director of Beverage and Corporate Mixologist, Craig Schoettler. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our guests to experience the finest tastes and cocktail combinations that Mexico has to offer, in the stylish and intimate setting only The Vault can provide.”

Each evening, the award-winning bartenders will craft unique specialty cocktails, with the Licorería Limantour menu featuring the Bellagio Spritz and Plum Platter, alongside two of the famed bar’s signature cocktails, Tegroni and A Random Tequila Sour. The Handshake menu will feature two exclusives for the weekend – Mr. Copperfield and Blackjack, as well as two of the speakeasy’s signature drinks, Sencha and Tomato Is a Fruit. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with Herrera and León as they demonstrate their craft and enjoy bites from The Vault’s culinary team, who have designed a special menu inspired by the cuisine of Mexico. The menu will include Birria Chochoyotes with oxtail, queso Oaxaca and consommé, as well as Chicharrónes with espelette and lime.

“Our heritage forms the cornerstone of Tequila Casa Dragones, and we are thrilled to seize this opportunity to spotlight Mexico's talented, award-winning bartenders on the Las Vegas Strip,” says Tequila Casa Dragones Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bertha González Nieves. “Our commitment to excellence in both craftsmanship and culture drives our mission at Tequila Casa Dragones, and this partnership honors our roots and tradition while embracing innovation and excitement in Mexican mixology.”

Tickets to the specialty pop-up are $125 per guest and can be secured for the 7 p.m. or 9 p.m. session. All guests will enjoy three specialty cocktails and a variety of passed canapes. Tickets can be purchased online via The Vault’s Instagram page.

About Casa Dragones
Founded and led by CEO Bertha González Nieves, the first female Maestra Tequilera, Tequila Casa Dragones is a small- batch producer known for its ultra-premium sipping tequilas. Launched in 2009 in Mexico, Casa Dragones has four uniquely smooth tequila expressions. Casa Dragones Joven has a complex, smooth taste that is perfect for sipping and pairing with food, while Casa Dragones Blanco’s crisp, agave-forward taste is perfect for craft cocktails and on the rocks. Casa Dragones Añejo Barrel Blend is the result of aging their tequila in two styles of new wood casks, then blending to achieve its distinctive, rich character. Their most recent expression, Casa Dragones Mizunara, 100% Blue Agave Reposado sipping tequila, is the first tequila rested exclusively in Mizunara, a rare oak native to Japan and traditionally used for aging Japanese whiskies. Casa Dragones’ mission is to be part of the tequila producers shaping the industry for the future through innovation, modern, sustainable production and Mexican craftsmanship. The name Casa Dragones is inspired by the legendary Dragones cavalry who ignited Mexico’s Independence Movement of 1810. La Casa Dragones in San Miguel de Allende is the historic 17th century stables of the cavalry, now transformed into a luxurious four-bedroom showcase of Mexican design. San Miguel de Allende, Casa Dragones’ spiritual home, is also home to Casa Dragones Tasting Room, or the “World’s Smallest Tequila Bar.” Casa Dragones is available online at www.casadragones.com and throughout the U.S., Mexico and select markets in Europe.
