LAS VEGAS (May 1, 2024) – Rivea, located high atop the luxurious Delano Las Vegas, is set to host an extraordinary culinary event on Tuesday, June 4 to celebrate the prestigious World’s 50 Best Awards. Jean-Philippe Blondet of the three Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and Executive Chef Winnie Wong of Rivea will join forces to present an exclusive six-course dinner promising an evening of gastronomic innovation in the presence of Alain Ducasse.
Chef Blondet, in collaboration with Chef Wong, will curate an evening of masterfully crafted dishes prepared using the finest ingredients and techniques. Attendees can expect a menu designed to blend their individual culinary styles, from the French contemporary haute-cuisine of Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester – where distinctive fresh flavours are executed with a light and surprising twist – to Rivea, which offers a renewed take on a French and Italian-influenced cuisine inspired by the delectable food markets of Provence and Italy.
The collaborative dinner will be held at Rivea, inside Delano Las Vegas, which offers stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip. Guests will convene at 7 p.m., beginning with a champagne reception and mixture of canapes from both chefs. Sample bites include Barbajuans from Blondet, as well as Grilled Octopus with coco beans, confit peppers and parsley-scallion pesto by Wong.
The six-course menu will follow with a signature dish from Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester – the hand-dived sea scallop with Kristal Caviar – followed by an Australian black truffle risotto and seared fillet of turbot served with artichoke and shiso by Chef Blondet. Sweet dishes on the menu include an elegant creation of organic lemon with olive oil snow, as well as a chocolate masterpiece from Alain Ducasse's famed chocolate shop Manufacture.
The dinner will be served on Tuesday, June 4, starting with a reception at 7 p.m. at Skyfall Lounge, followed by a seated dinner at 8 p.m. The menu, which includes a special wine pairing, is priced at $295 + tax and gratuity. Guests can make a reservation through the booking link here.
