BILOXI, Miss. – A cool, refreshing concept is now open at Beau Rivage. The Daiquiri Shop – Frozen Treats and Eats provides a way for guests to chill at MGM Resorts International’s waterfront resort.
“Operating an integrated resort and casino requires your team to be creative and introduce unique concepts to continue to surprise and delight guests.” Beau Rivage Vice President of Hospitality Murat Akan said. “At Beau Rivage, we serve not only our local and regional guests, but those from all over the country. The addition of The Daiquiri Shop allows us to provide flavorful frozen treats accompanied by an everchanging culinary “pop-up” experience to appeal to a wide variety of guests.”
As the name suggests, daiquiris and other frozen concoctions, offered with or without alcohol, take center stage at The Daiquiri Shop. Frozen drinks include Tiger Berry, a strawberry drink with Bacardi; Coco Colada, pina colada mixed with Malibu rum; the Big South Margarita, featuring Jose Cuervo, Cointreau and lime; Creole Margarita, a spin on the Big South Margarita with mango and jalapeno added; Back Bay Runner, a blue raspberry and lemon blend with Bacardi; Beach Blvd. Lemonade, a classic frozen lemonade with Tito’s vodka and topped with a cherry; and Biloxi Vice, a refreshing strawberry and pina colada with Malibu rum.
In addition to frozen beverages, a variety of bottled beers, canned cocktails and seltzers, sodas and water are available.
Food offerings are presented “pop-up style,” with a rotating menu of quick bites focusing on locally- and globally-inspired items such as Mexican fare, Barbecue, Coastal cuisine and other concepts. The venue currently features a variety of tacos, chips, guacamole and salsas available to dine in or as grab-and-go.
Located in the retail promenade between the entrance to the parking garage and Roasted Bean patio, The Daiquiri Shop is open Thursday and Friday from 3-11 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. For more information and for menu offerings, visit www.beaurivage.com.
