MGM Resorts Announces Opening Dates for First Las Vegas Properties

LAS VEGAS (May 27, 2020) – MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) (“MGM Resorts”) announced its planned June 4 reopening of Bellagio, New York-New York, MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature, following the closure earlier this year of all of its U.S. properties amidst the coronavirus crisis.  At opening, amenities at all properties will be limited. As demand for the destination builds, additional venues within these resorts will open and other MGM Resorts properties on The Strip will reopen.

MGM Resorts Announces Opening Dates for Mississippi Properties

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) today announced the reopening dates of its Mississippi resorts, the first of the company’s U.S. properties to reopen following closure earlier this year amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica will reopen in a limited capacity to the public on Monday, May 25, followed by Biloxi’s Beau Rivage Resort & Casino’s reopening Monday, June 1, also in a limited capacity. Each property will host an invitation-only weekend ahead of its public reopening.

MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL RELEASES HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN FOR RE-OPENING UNITED STATES PROPERTIES

LAS VEGAS (May 12, 2020) – MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) today released a report outlining the comprehensive health and safety protocols the company is implementing prior to re-opening its domestic properties and resorts which were temporarily closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The report details MGM Resorts’ “Seven-Point Safety Plan” – a multi-layered set of protocols and procedures designed in conjunction with medical and scientific experts to deter the spread of the virus, protect customers and employees and rapidly respond to potential new cases. RECAP: JOHN CHIN WINS ‘CHIPPING ALL-IN’ CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT

LAS VEGAS (April 17, 2020) – The “Chipping All-In” charity poker tournament saw some of the biggest names in golf, poker elites and a basketball star hit the virtual felt with John Chin, a current Korn Ferry Tour player, claiming the win. Major champion golfers including Jimmy Walker, Michelle Wie and John Daly as well as Las Vegas Aces Head Coach Bill Laimbeer competed in the Texas Hold’em online tournament on Thursday, April 16 and helped raise more than $150,000 for the MGM Resorts Foundation’s Employee Emergency Grant Fund. The Fund provides the hospitality company’s employees and their immediate families with short-term relief in making payments or to meet obligations during unexpected hardships and emergencies. The Fund is designed to assist those impacted by the coronavirus, including part-time employees, on-call employees and those facing layoff or furlough.

Golf's Biggest Stars Compete In ‘Chipping All-In’ Charity Poker Tournament Thursday, April 16

LAS VEGAS (April 13, 2020) – Some of golf’s biggest names will take their talents from the fairway to the felt (virtually) Thursday, April 16 for the Chipping All-In charity poker tournament. Cards will fly beginning at noon PST, giving fans the opportunity to watch their favorite golfers, including Jimmy Walker, Michelle Wie, John Daly and more compete in a live online Texas Hold’em tournament. Event proceeds will go to the MGM Resorts Foundation’s Employee Emergency Grant Fund, which provides employees and their immediate families with short-term relief in making payments or to meet obligations during unexpected hardships and emergencies.
