Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: “The Nutcracker”

  • The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio will take guests on a journey through Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet classic “The Nutcracker,” with its enchanting holiday display. The exhibit will replicate iconic scenes from the classic ballet, following protagonist Clara’s journey through her holiday dreamland. With awe-inspiring floral displays and festive décor, the Conservatory will tell the story of the courageous Nutcracker Prince and his adventure with Clara as the two embark on a magical adventure in the Land of Sweets. Imagined by designer Ed Libby and brought to life by Bellagio’s Horticulture team, each bed will showcase different enchanting moments from the show, transporting visitors to a true winter wonderland where they can celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. 
    • The Conservatory is complimentary and open 24 hours daily. "The Nutcracker" display runs December 2 - January 7.

  • The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announces the much-anticipated return of its beloved Ice Rink for its 12th year. The Boulevard Pool will undergo a magical transformation into the ultimate rooftop winter wonderland featuring a 4,200-square-foot ice rink with unparalleled views of the Las Vegas Strip.
  • Guests can indulge in delightful craft cocktails and holiday bites throughout the deck, including at The Chalet, a reimagined mountaintop village adorned with open-air fire pits and charming décor. Menu highlights include the Beef Birria Quesadilla made with jack cheese and spicy beef consommé; Chicken Pot Pie Empanadas served with sage gravy; and holiday desserts perfect for sharing including the Loaded Chocolate Brownie stacked with toffee pretzel bark, whipped cream, roasted peanuts and maraschino cherry and Campfire S’mores kits for two. Adults 21 years of age and older can indulge in festive libations such as the Campfire Delight, made with Bulleit Bourbon, toasted marshmallow, hot cocoa and whipped cream or the Partridge in a Pear Tree, with Patron Silver Tequila, St. George Spiced Pear, fresh lime, prickly pear, pomegranate nectar and toasted rosemary.
  • Various special events and activations will take place throughout the season, such as classic holiday films displayed above the rink on the resort’s 65-foot marquee every Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. and snow showers every half hour after 7 p.m. The Ice Rink will also host an exclusive firework viewing party on New Year’s Eve.   • On Dec. 3 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., guests can celebrate the season with Vegas Golden Knights players Alec Martinez, Zach Whitecloud and Adin Hill* at The Ice Rink. Chance, the Knight’s Guard and the Vegas Vivas will keep spirits high while guests can skate and take in unparalleled views of Las Vegas from high above The Strip.

  • All-day skating access is $30. Monday through Thursday, all-day skating access for Nevada residents, military and first responders with a valid ID is $20. Admission to the dazzling winter wonderland atmosphere surrounding The Ice Rink is complimentary. The Ice Rink welcomes guests ages two and up. Minors must have a liability waiver signed and be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21. Advanced ticket purchases and reservations are strongly encouraged.

Shark Reef Aquarium: Santa in the Shipwreck

  • Santa Claus steers his sleigh from the North Pole to Las Vegas to find out who’s been naughty and nice during the annual Santa in the Shipwreck at Shark Reef Aquarium. With each paid admission, children 12 and under receive a complimentary photograph with Santa Claus.
  • Jolly St. Nick will also have a little help this year from a rather large and toothy holiday helper – Santa Jaws. Throughout the day, Santa Jaws will happily “swim” by to join the kiddies for a photo.
  • Santa will put on a SCUBA suit and plunge into the shipwreck exhibit to wave farewell alongside his underwater friends before going back to his elves and reindeer.

    • Adults: $29 (timed entry) and $36 (anytime tickets)
    • Children ages 5 – 12: $24 (timed entry) and $31 (anytime)  
    • Children ages 4 and under: Complimentary

      • Special appearances by Santa Jaws will take place every hour for photos and interactions with kids and families.
      • Diving Santa will check on the sharks and fish in the Shipwreck exhibit daily at 4 p.m. before heading back to the North Pole.
  • Shark Reef Aquarium features more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranhas and a Komodo dragon, as well as the Undersea Explorer VR Theater. Tickets can be purchased online and information on pricing is available here. Advance reservations are recommended to ensure preferred time of entry.

Terry Fator: A Very Terry Christmas

  • Celebrate the joy of the holidays with Terry Fator and his cast of characters performing Christmas classics as well as original songs written by Fator. Expect appearances from Maynard Thompkins, the Elvis impersonator; the Apollo Theater legend Julius; Duggie Scott Walker; and Winston, the Impersonating Turtle.
  • Dates & Times:
    • Select dates Nov. 24 – Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tickets start at $34.95 (not including applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase here or by visiting any MGM Resorts International box office. Guests are recommended to be 12 years of age or older to attend, and children under the age of 5 are not permitted.

Excalibur
Tournament of Kings: ‘Twas the Knight

  • Guests can eat, drink and be merry while being part of a spectacular production that mixes classic medieval jousts with holiday-inspired music. Audiences are immersed into a winter wonderland full of majestic costumes and flags while they enjoy a seasonal feast of roasted Cornish Game Hen, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, a soft baked dinner roll and a cherry hand pie.
