  • As the holiday season approaches, MGM Resorts International is introducing a fun and innovative way to gift a piece of Las Vegas. Through MGMShops.com, guests can shop exclusive room amenities and furnishings from their favorite MGM Resorts properties long after checking out. The online shopping experience allows for seamless browsing of highly requested items not available in the hotel gift shop, all ready to be shipped in time for the holidays. A wide variety of gifts, including bedding, mattresses, spa products, signature fragrances and themed trinkets are now available from the following MGM Resorts brands:

 

The Park

Coke Zero “Cool Yule” at Beerhaus

  • Twinkling lights, festive décor, caroling and dancing will bring holiday cheer to visitors and locals alike at Coke Zero “Cool Yule” at Beerhaus in The Park. Guests can enter giveaways to win branded holiday Coca-Cola merch, sip on specialty holiday cocktails and enjoy live entertainment, including sets by DJ Santa.
  • Admission is free and events are open to the public.

Bellagio

Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: “Gingerbread Dreams”

  • The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio is celebrating the holidays with a festive “Gingerbread Dreams” display. The family-friendly attraction has turned into a sweet winter wonderland full of delights featuring seasonal favorites such as a snowy holiday village, polar bears, fresh poinsettias and a tree decorated with thousands of ornaments and warm white lights.
    • The centerpiece of the display is a 42-foot holiday tree decked from top to bottom with gleaming ornaments as a toy train chugs along around the base of the tree.
    • Another stunning element is a large snowy gingerbread house, decorated in fun faux candy creations, that guests can walk through complete with a smoking chimney.
    • The Conservatory is complimentary and open 24 hours daily. "Gingerbread Dreams" runs through January 1. 

 

Bellagio Spa & Salon

  • Bellagio Spa & Salon is getting cozy for the holidays with exclusive seasonal treatments. Spa-goers can choose from a 50-minute Warm Winter Spice Body Scrub ($190) that soothes dry winter skin and incorporates clove, cinnamon and orange essential oils to provide seasonal immune support or a 50-minute Warm Winter Spice Massage ($225) featuring warm stones and aromatic oils to enhance deep relaxation.

 

ARIA

“North Star” Holiday Display

  • The holidays have officially arrived at ARIA Resort & Casino as “The North Star” display welcomes guests with a brilliant winter wonderland, starry scenery and breathtaking imagery.
  • The vibrant design by Las Vegas-based event planner Andrea Eppolito, in collaboration with the ARIA pastry team and MGM Resorts Event Productions, takes guests on a magical journey throughout the resort. A towering 28-foot North Star stands in the center of the ARIA lobby, surrounded by larger-than-life crystal shards, flocked trees and a starry night of celestial starbursts above. The teams worked for over 100 hours to create and install the one-of-a-kind winter experience that combines elegant holiday décor with nostalgic custom confections.
    • The ARIA holiday display is complimentary and open 24 hours daily through January 9.

 

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Ice Rink

  • The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Ice Rink for the 11th year as the Boulevard Pool transforms into the only rooftop winter wonderland overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Featuring a 4,200-square-foot rink made of real ice, and the return of The Chalet, a holiday village with open-air fire pits perfect for cocktails and s’mores, guests can savor all the holiday vibes while enjoying classic holiday films displayed above the rink on the resort’s 65-foot marquee.
  • The Ice Rink’s famed Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony returns this year on December 7 hosted by Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. New this season, Overlook Grill will transform into Overlook Chill, a rink-side café featuring traditional holiday bites with unique twists on comfort food classics. Guests can also expect festive new additions to the Ice Rink’s cocktail menu expertly reimagined this season by resort mixologist, Andrew Pollard, featuring elevated takes on lively holiday libations.

MGM Grand

Coca-Cola Holiday Display

  • The iconic Leo the Lion Statue in the MGM Grand Lobby will be adorned with a dazzling display of lights, ornaments and wrapped gifts to welcome guests for the holiday seasons. The magical decorations provided by Coca-Cola will provide visitors with a fun photo moment, including special visits from the Coca-Cola Polar Bear.
  • The display is open to the public through December 31.
  • Dates & times of the Coca-Cola Polar Bear visits:
    • December 2, 3, 9, 11, 16, 17, 23 and 31, 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

 

Mandalay Bay

Shark Reef Aquarium: Santa in the Shipwreck

  • Santa Claus steers his sleigh from the North Pole to Las Vegas to find out who’s been naughty and nice during the annual Santa in the Shipwreck at Shark Reef Aquarium. With each paid admission, children 12 and under will receive a complimentary photograph with Santa Claus.
  • Jolly St. Nick will also have a little help this year from a rather large and toothy holiday helper – Santa Jaws. Throughout the day, Santa Jaws will happily “swim” by to join the kiddies for a photo.
  • Santa will put on a SCUBA suit and plunge into the shipwreck exhibit to wave farewell alongside his underwater friends before going back to his elves and reindeer.

    • Adults: $29 (timed entry) and $39 (anytime tickets)
    • Children ages 5 – 12: $24 (timed entry) and $31 (anytime)  
    • Children ages 4 and under: Complimentary

      • Special appearances by Santa Jaws will take place every hour for photos and interactions with kids and families.
      • Diving Santa will check on the sharks and fish in the Shipwreck exhibit daily at 4 p.m. before heading back to the North Pole.
  • Shark Reef Aquarium features more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranhas and a Komodo dragon, as well as the Undersea Explorer VR Theater. Tickets can be purchased online and information on pricing is available here. Advance reservations are recommended to ensure preferred time of entry.

 

Spa Mandalay Bay

  • Spa Mandalay Bay is celebrating the winter season with themed spa and salon experiences. Guests can experience the 50-minute Winter Warmth Facial ($140) utilizing gemstones to energize, sooth and calm the skin for balanced and glowing results; the 50-minute Sole Saver ($85), a luxurious pedicure with a sugar scrub and hydrating masque; the 50-minute Decadent Full-Body Sugar Scrub ($135) that will bring skin to life through a perfect blend of coconut and sweet almond oil; and the 60-minute Winter Glow Blowout ($100) that leaves hair with the ultimate condition, shine and style.

Bathhouse Spa

  • Discover new ways to relax during the holidays with extravagant spa and salon experiences at Bathhouse Spa, including the 50-minute Renew Massage ($165) that uses peach nectar, coconut milk and creamy musk aromas to melt tensions away or the 50-minute Detox Hydrotherapy Bath ($100), a rosemary and lemon scented bath treatment exclusively for female guests that will soak away stress for a fresh start to the new year.

The Spa at Excalibur

  • The Spa at Excalibur is ringing in the winter months with various treatments inspired by scents of the holidays.
