NATIONAL HARBOR, MD (June 11, 2018) – The Capital Region will enjoy a taste of the Amalfi Coast this fall with the debut of Osteria Costa at MGM National Harbor. The restaurant will be a casual reprieve where DMV residents and visitors can enjoy Coastal Italian fare such as Neapolitan pizzas, homemade pastas and breads, hand-pulled mozzarella and fresh seafood. Osteria Costa will be open daily for cocktails and dinner.

“The Osteria Costa dining experience will transport guests to the sights, sounds and tastes of the Amalfi Coast,” said MGM National Harbor Executive Chef Jason Johnston. “From the décor to the food to the lively bar program, this restaurant will be an exciting addition to our resort’s culinary portfolio.”
An MGM Resorts International original concept, the first Osteria Costa opened at The Mirage Las Vegas in Dec. 2017 to rave reviews. Los Angeles Times said, “Between the cuisine, cocktails and laidback mood, it’s easy to agree, Osteria Costa is “Molto Bueno” in addition to Arizona Foothills Magazine commenting that, “The recipe creations from Osteria Costa left us feeling as though we were savoring authentic Italian fare, crafted from garden-fresh ingredients,” and Thrillist featuring the concept in a story about “The Best Italian Restaurants in Las Vegas.”

Osteria Costa’s vibrant design will bring with it an authentic feel of Southern Italy’s most desired coastline. The venue will be immersed in a color palette of seaside blues and greens, accentuated by lush greenery, light wood furnishings and rustic touches that pay homage to the picturesque villages of the region. Guests will have the option to dine on the patio, with spectacular views of MGM National Harbor’s Conservatory, in the main dining room or at the bar.

Osteria Costa will take the place of Conservatory Café, which will close in July. Additional details on the restaurant will be shared in the coming months.
