MGM GRAND DETROIT EMPLOYEES PLANT TREES FOR EARTH WEEK
Volunteers from MGM Grand Detroit took advantage of some warm weather to give back to the city and to the planet in celebration of Earth Week.
Dozens of volunteers from MGM Grand Detroit partnered with The Greening of Detroit to plant trees at the Marjorie St. Garden on Detroit’s east side. MGM Grand Detroit is committed to strengthening the livelihood, capacity, and resiliency of communities in Metro Detroit. Both the property and its parent company, MGM Resorts International, hold a strong vision for social impact and sustainability through their philosophy “Focused on What Matters: Embracing Humanity and Protecting the Planet.”
The Greening of Detroit has been planting trees in Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck since 1989 with more than 135,000 trees planted.
