Gold Strike Announces March Entertainment Lineup
Rock and country headliners, dueling pianos and party bands to take the stage at MGM Resorts International’s Mid-South resort
TUNICA, Miss. – The stages at Gold Strike Casino Resort light up in March with blues rockers George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Grammy-award winning country star LeAnn Rimes, dueling pianos and party bands on the entertainment docket.
The “Good to be Bad” Tour celebrates George Thorogood & The Destroyers’ 45 years of rock, with a stop at Millennium Theatre on Friday, March 13, at 9 p.m. Known for songs like “Bad to the Bone,” “Get a Haircut,” “I Drink Alone” and “Move it on Over,” over the course of the last four decades, Thorogood, with his longtime band, The Destroyers, has sold more than 15 million albums, released 16 studio albums – including six gold and two platinum discs – and performed more than 8,000 live shows.
Since beginning her career in 1991, Rimes has sold over 37 million records worldwide while winning two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards and 12 Billboard Music Awards. The Mississippi native’s songs include “Blue,” “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” and “How Do I Live.” Rimes takes the stage at Millennium Theatre on Friday, March 27.
Dueling pianos take over Moneyline Book, Bar & Grill on Friday, March 6 and 13, featuring world-renowned pianist Tim Buie and Tom Basler. Buie will also perform solo on Saturday, March 7 and 14 at TEN10 from 9:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. while Stage2 offers live entertainment each Thursday through Saturday.
