Free Online Concert To Honor America's Veterans
FEATURING COUNTRY MUSIC STARS: CHRIS JANSON, KELLIE PICKLER AND HOSTED BY ESPN’S MALIKA ANDREWS
Wednesday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. EST
Amidst a global pandemic, this event highlights the service of Americans across all branches of the military and will include stirring video tributes to the men and women in uniform who serve or have served around the world.
“The United States Air Force Band is excited to partner this year with MGM National Harbor to recognize our veterans and their families. In light of 2020’s unique challenges, we also want to pay tribute to our first responders throughout our communities. We hope that you can join us for a celebration of our nation’s heroes”, says Colonel Don Schofield, Commander & Conductor, The United States Air Force Band.
“We are excited about this opportunity to partner with The United States Air Force Band”, says John Flynn, a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve and MGMRI’s Vice President of Administration. “We recognize the importance of celebrating our American service men and women and this performance is just one way we hope to show them our appreciation.”
This online concert is a part of the A Salute to Service: Honoring America’s Heroes campaign, which is a year-round effort to honor, empower, and connect our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families.
