Felt and Blossom Bring Radiant Design to MGM National Harbor
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD (Nov. 3, 2016) - MGM National Harbor will redefine sophisticated nightlife with two new hotspots destined to become the standard for the Capital Region’s most discerning guests. Conceptualized by KNA Design, in collaboration with boutique hospitality company Clique Hospitality, Felt Bar & Lounge and Blossom Cocktail Lounge will offer unparalleled experiences, set amidst captivating décor envisioned by a team of interior design professionals.

Felt Bar & Lounge
This cosmopolitan lounge honors Washington D.C. as a symbol of history where classical architecture meets modern archival library. On the perimeter, ebony bookshelves with gold leaf accents house archival books create a playful spirit and openness to the casino space and beyond. The sheltered interior of the room will invite guests in with a bar full of delightfully arranged liquors from around the world; finely placed pendulum light fixtures that denote the center of the action; and eye-catching black-and-white tiled flooring all centered on a color palette that is both vivid and bold.
An antique coffered ceiling will surround and follow the shape of the geometric carpet pattern as black and gold hues give the space a modern and slightly masculine feel. Versatile seating options will allow guests to sit and enjoy a drink along with convivial areas arranged for engaging conversation. Communal bar seating also will be available, designed for guests to linger indefinitely while relaxing with friends or meeting new ones. On select nights, live entertainment will set the tone for one of the region’s hottest new go to venues.
When the energy moves guests to experience a new scene, they may choose to move outdoors where they can enjoy views of the nation’s capital and the Potomac River, from Felt’s terrace, complete with a cozy stone firepit.
Blossom Cocktail Lounge
MGN National Harbor’s center bar is inspired by and pays homage to D.C.’s celebrated Cherry Blossom season. A beautiful print of the Cherry Blossom Bloom of 2015 by Prince George’s County photographer Ron Beverly will be featured on a large backlit wall within the space, giving the lounge a sense of its provenance.
