SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (February 5, 2019) – Love is in the air at MGM Springfield this Valentine’s Day with a series of celebrations including sizzling entertainment, lively parties and romantic food offerings. 

“Date Skate” at The Ice Rink at MGM Plaza Presented by Mercedes-Benz of Springfield will welcome visitors from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. to bundle up with their sweethearts and skate to classic love songs, including tunes from MGM Resorts International’s Universal Love album featuring Kesha, Bob Dylan and more. As part of MGM Springfield’s Roar! Comedy Series, Dry Bar Comedy, the wildly popular online-based comedy group, will host a show full of laughter in The Armory at 8 p.m. Guests looking for a more sultry night out should check out The Lalas Burlesque Show inside the ARIA Ballroom. The Chandler Steakhouse will feature menu specials including Kusshi Oysters served with caviar and A5 Miyazakigyu Wagyu Strip Steak with roasted garlic, scallions and mushroom shoyu. Cal Mare, MGM Springfield’s Southern Coastal Italian restaurant, will offer a lavish 5-course prefix menu with highlights such as Potato Gnocchi, Saffron Spaghetti and Braised Oxtail with caramelized onions and Parmigiano Reggiano.
