BILOXI, Miss. – Holiday magic abounds at MGM Resorts International’s Beau Rivage Resort & Casino as the Gulf Coast’s premier resort is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland with twinkling displays, exquisite shopping, classic musical performances and holiday charm throughout the property.
One of the most-anticipated holiday destinations in the South, the 1,740-room resort will enchant guests throughout the season with its spectacular display through Jan. 3. This season’s décor features larger-than-life nutcrackers, magnificent oversized ornaments, classic winter scenes, more than 200 frost-covered trees, thousands of red poinsettias, and a stunning 20-foot Christmas tree in the resort’s atrium that all offer keepsake and selfie-worthy photos with friends and family.

On Nov. 23, Martina McBride launches her Joy of Christmas tour and kicks off Beau Rivage’s holiday entertainment with a 42-piece orchestra and conductor. The Beau Rivage Symphony Series continues one week later when Johnny Mathis with special guest Gary Mule Deer perform two Christmas symphony concerts on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The Mississippi Gulf Coast Ballet leaps onto the stage Nov. 25 with its rendition of The Nutcracker at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Two special performances of Christmas with Aaron Neville will fill the theatre on Dec. 6 and Dec. 7. Christmas comes alive with the holiday production show Christmas Dreams, performing in the Beau Rivage Theatre Dec. 15-27. The story of a young boy who doesn’t believe in Santa is told by an award-winning cast of professional ice skaters, singers and cirque performers who guide the boy with special magic that only the holidays can deliver. Enchanting holiday scenes, high-energy numbers, brilliant solos, a stage of real ice, a magnificent snowfall at each performance and a visit from Santa himself are sure delight the young and old alike. Tickets start at $12.95 plus tax and service charge. Show times are 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. throughout the run of the show, including performances on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Christmas Dreams special offers are available throughout the resort. Packages of four tickets start at $40 plus tax and service charge by using code: CHRISTMAS, and hotel packages start at $99 and include accommodations for one night and two show tickets using code: HOLIDAY18. Kids 12 and under eat free in the Beau Rivage Buffet when a show ticket stub is presented.
Christmas Dreams honors the nation’s military by offering four tickets for $30 for service members when a military ID is presented at Beau Rivage box office.
Traditional Beau Rivage favorites return, and holiday traditions are expanded this year as Santa and friends host an upscale Christmas brunch to delight and excite children of all ages. On Dec. 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., BR Prime’s intimate setting provides unique backdrop for those special moments with Santa, along with an expansive presentation of fresh seafood, prime rib, live action stations, traditional breakfast offerings and delectable holiday pastries. Each child receives a commemorative photo with Santa and a limited-edition gift. Another new feature this year, sounds of the season performed by local choral groups will echo freely throughout the atrium from 5-7 p.m. nightly, Dec. 15-24.
Capture the memories made at Beau Rivage and enjoy a holiday meal with Pictures with Santa in The Buffet from 5 – 9 p.m., Dec. 16-20. Two complimentary photos with Santa are included with Buffet purchase. As 2018 comes to a close, partygoers can ring in the New Year in style, with special dining options in many of the resort’s restaurants on New Year’s Eve. Guests can celebrate 2019’s arrival at Sports Book & Bar, EIGHT75, Breeze Bar or the Beau Rivage Theatre where The Molly Ringwalds will perform and lead a champagne toast at midnight. After midnight, the Beau Rivage Theatre turns into the ultimate dance party, free for revelers. New Year’s Day brunch will be offered in the Buffet and Stalla Italian Kitchen.
