BILOXI, Miss. – Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is proud to return as a diamond level sponsor and official casino resort of the nation’s premier winter horse show, the Gulf Coast Winter Classics. The seven-week equestrian competition runs Feb. 17 – March 28 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport and features Leadline to Grand Prix riders from across the country.

The featured event, the Beau Rivage Lucky 777 Grand Prix, will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7. Over the course of the seven weeks, the Gulf Coast Winters Classics series includes more than 1,000 horses and riders from across the United States and Canada competing for more than $1,000,000 in prize money and awards. “This year marks 20 years that Beau Rivage and MGM Resorts has proudly sponsored the Gulf Coast Winter Classics, a first-class event that brings some of the finest equine and their teams to Coastal Mississippi,” said Beau Rivage President and COO Travis Lunn. “We look forward to the Beau Rivage Lucky Sevens Grand Prix, welcoming familiar faces and meeting the new participants. The series offers a perfect outing for families, with free admission and plenty of open space outdoors to enjoy the beauty, grace and power of these competitors safely.”

“We honored to have had Beau Rivage’s support and hospitality for the past 20 years,” said Janet McCarroll, Gulf Coast Winter Classic Horse Shows Event Coordinator.  “Our participants look forward to visiting Coastal Mississippi each year, and even more so this year they are looking forward to the coastal lifestyle and fresh air.
