BILOXI, Miss. - Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is proud to be the official host hotel and host resort casino of the 2020 Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon, Dec. 11-13, 2020, where race participants can stay, play, run and relax with a variety of runner-friendly offerings and specials.

“Beau Rivage has partnered with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon since its inception in 2016,” said MGM Southeast President & COO Travis Lunn. “We enjoy hosting runners and their families as they prepare and recuperate from a scenic run along our beautiful coastline. Marathon weekend is a fun winter event that has a positive impact on those that participate, as well as our coastal communities.”

The annual Coastal Running Fest is part of the Beach to Bayou Challenge, a partnership with the Louisiana Marathon, and features four distance races, including a marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) and kids marathon (a 1.2 mile fun run). Last year’s race drew more than 9,000 runners, volunteers and spectators to Coastal Mississippi from 42 states and five countries.

The Spa at Beau Rivage is an ideal setting for pre- and post-race relaxation, offering two specials, including the Marathon Runner Massage, which includes a full body Swedish-style massage. The Marathon Custom Massage is the ultimate massage experience, tailor-fit to meet specific needs from massage pressure to location and includes two enhancements such as Warm Himalayan Salt Stones and Fire and Ice to warm focus areas and provide cooling relief. Runners showing their race bib receive an insulated water bottle with any spa service, while supplies last.

Runner-friendly dining specials are offered throughout race weekend at Beau Rivage’s award-winning restaurants. For a complete list of dining specials, visit www.beaurivage.com.

The running festival, culminating with a beachfront marathon that begins in historic Pass Christian and winds along Highway 90 Beach Blvd. to Biloxi, is a true celebration of running and Coastal Mississippi culture. Runners will experience unobstructed beach views, quaint coastal towns and some of the region’s most beautiful homes before ending at MGM Park’s Finish Festival, featuring local cuisine.
