Beau Rivage Grand Prix to be held March 8, highlighting seven-week equestrian competition

BILOXI, Miss. – This week marks the start of the 22nd Annual Gulf Coast Winter Classics Horse Show and Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is proud to return as a platinum level sponsor and official casino resort of the award-winning Hunter/Jumper circuit event. The seven-week equestrian competition features Leadline to Grand Prix riders from across the country and takes place through March 29 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport. The Beau Rivage Lucky Sevens Grand Prix, one of the Gulf Coast Winter Classics’ featured events, will take place Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m.

Recognized by the U.S. Equestrian Federation as one of the nation’s top-rated competitions, the Gulf Coast Winter Classics is the largest event of its kind on the Gulf Coast and generates an annual economic impact of more than $40 million dollars. The Gulf Coast Winter Classics has earned national acclaim as the best winter horse show competition in the country and was named one of Southeast Tourism Society’s Top Ten Award winning events.
