Auburn Wins Inaugural Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational
Top-ranked Auburn had four players finish under par en route to the team title at the inaugural Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Mississippi, University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State University.
Auburn took home the team crown with a three-day total of 843, 21-under par and 19 strokes ahead of second-place Ole Miss. Mississippi State finished third.
The 54-hole event, which featured three teams in the Top 10, was won by SMU freshman Matthew Foster, who carded -8 at the completion of three round. The title was the first for Foster, who was playing in the second collegiate event of his career.
