LAS VEGAS (May 24, 2019) – The Las Vegas Aces and Sinclair Broadcast Group (NASDAQ: SBGI) today announced a partnership to bring basketball fans 16 of the WNBA team’s 17 home games to local broadcast television. The partnership formally tips off with the Aces’ season opener against the Los Angeles Sparks scheduled for Sunday, May 26 at 5 pm PT.

Fans of the Las Vegas Aces can watch the games on MyLVTV, available locally over the air (Channel 21), on COX (Channel 12, 1012 in HD), on Centurylink (Channel 21) and on DirecTV (Channel 21). All games are broadcast from the Mandalay Bay Events Center, the home court for the Aces.

“The Aces are Las Vegas’ team, and it was important for us in this broadcast agreement to find a true partner in the community,” said Aces’ Assistant General Manager Christine Monjer. “Sinclair Broadcasting and MyLVTV fit that mold perfectly. Their commitment to the region and interest in partnering with the world’s premier women’s sports league is a win-win for our franchise and the city of Las Vegas.”

In addition to offering access to 16 of 17 home games, the partnership will include a number of notable marketing and content creation elements, including ticket giveaways, promotional spots, exclusive online and over the air features, digital advertising, and meet and greets.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to connecting our audiences with premium, local content and is another way to showcase our status as a premier partner for local and regional sports franchises,” said Larry Strumwasser, general manager for Sinclair’s MyLVTV. “The Las Vegas Aces has a dedicated and loyal fan base, and we are thrilled to be able to provide them with easy access to watch all games, furthering our goal to equip our audience with ways to view highly desirable, local content.”

In addition to the Aces local television contract, the team has two games being broadcast on ESPN2 this season, five on NBATV, six on twitter and eight on CBS Sports Network. The Aces also are hosting the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game 2019 on Saturday, July 27.
