BILOXI, Miss. –  Edmund Sexton Jr. from Tuscaloosa, Ala., competed against 157 other entrants for a share of Beau Rivage’s $395,500 Million Dollar Heater Main Event prize pool and walked away with the $105,282 first place prize.

After 12 hours of play Sexton put down a hand of pocket aces to win his largest tournament yet. “This is a great way to start off 2019,” Sexton said. “I feel like I’m waking up from a dream. I played with guys way better than me, and won. It feels amazing.”
