SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (November 23, 2018) – MGM Springfield celebrated the start of its holiday season with a special ice skating ceremony featuring U.S. National Figure Skating Champion Nancy Kerrigan, who welcomed guests to the first-ever Ice Rink at MGM Plaza Presented by Mercedes-Benz of Springfield.

Kerrigan, who was the 1993 US National Figure Skating Champion and represented the United States in the Winter Olympics, bringing home the bronze in 1991 and the silver in 1992, dazzled the audience with a graceful performance to “Let It Go” by Demi Lovato. The Stoneham, Massachusetts native posed for photos with local children and guests before enjoying lunch with her family at MGM Springfield’s TAP Sports Bar.

“Holidays at MGM Springfield” is now open daily through March 3.  For additional details, including hours, rates and more, please visit mgmspringfield.com.
