Tournament Will Air on the Golf Channel March 23 - 25
Biloxi, Miss. (Mar. 23) –With seven World Golf Hall of Famers, 16 PGA TOUR Champions Tour major winners and 14 PGA TOUR major championship winners overall, the 2018 Rapiscan Systems Classic will boast one of the strongest fields ever playing Fallen Oak. Twenty-nine of the Top 30 on the Charles Schwab Cup Money List, and 45 of the Top 50, are competing at Fallen Oak March 23-25.
 
Two-time defending champion Miguel Angel Jimenez will defend his title against some of the best players in the world, including former champions Fred Couples, Jeff Maggert, David Frost, Tom Lehman and Michael Allen.
 
Couples is joined in the field by fellow World Golf Hall of Fame members Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Larry Nelson, Mark O’Meara, Vijay Singh and Ian Woosnam.
 
The 16 PGA TOUR Champions major winners account for 33 major wins on tour. In addition, six Masters Tournament champions are in the field.

The newly-named Rapiscan Systems Classic is a non-profit PGA TOUR Champions golf tournament in South Mississippi. The tournament debuted eight years ago and takes place at MGM Resort International’s award-winning Tom Fazio-designed golf course Fallen Oak
 
Each year, the tournament draws large crowds and puts the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the national spotlight, thanks to live coverage from The Golf Channel. The purse for the three-day competition is $1.6 million, and 78 PGA TOUR Champions players will participate.
