Park MGM Welcomes First Group within Madison Meeting Center, Las Vegas’ First Executive Meeting Center
LAS VEGAS (July 31, 2018) – Innovative, non-traditional venues are in high demand and the newest offering can be found within Park MGM’s meetings and conference space. Welcoming its first group this month, the Madison Meeting Center is the first of its kind in Las Vegas, catering to meetings for groups from 10 to 50 people.
The 10,000-square-foot, modern-designed meeting space offers 10 flexible rooms able to accommodate varying layouts ideal for classroom-style training, certifications, product seminars, workshops and tailored events. With two self-service lounges, ergonomic moveable furniture with integrated power along with built-in audio/visual equipment and rolling whiteboards, the Madison Meeting Center inspires interaction and encourages collaboration.
Increasing the center’s appeal is the first Day Meeting Package (DMP) offering on the Las Vegas Strip. The all-inclusive pricing allows meeting planners to pay a flat rate per attendee, providing convenience and cost efficiency. With 80 percent of MGM Resorts’ convention groups at 100 guestrooms or less, the DMP and Madison Meeting Center reflect the company’s commitment to providing small groups with options that suit their needs.
“The Madison Meeting Center was thoughtfully developed using research and science as a guide in designing productive work spaces,” said Shelly Cruz, vice president of Sales for Park MGM. “We look forward to helping groups maximize their time together by creating environments that lead to greater conversation and creativity.”
The Madison Meeting Center complements Park MGM’s recently opened 58,600 square feet of modern conference space featuring an expansive ballroom and 29 meeting rooms. The high-touch, high-tech meeting venues, overlooking the resort’s pool, are filled with natural light. For those wanting private outdoor meeting space, the 4,345-square-foot Central Park Terrace provides the ideal setting. Later this year, Park MGM will introduce the Ideation Studio, utilizing best-in-class tech for strategic collaboration for groups of six to 24, completing the resort’s new 77,000-square-foot conference and event space.
Central Park Terrace
In addition to the new meeting space, Park Theater, a centerpiece of Park MGM’s entertainment experience, doubles as a signature event space. Accommodating up to 5,200 guests in 30,000 square feet of space, Park Theater is beautifully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking The Strip and The Park.
With a combination of modern, non-traditional spaces and flexible design, the new meeting offerings fill an unmet need in Las Vegas for small groups, while also providing beautiful spaces to host up to 5,000 attendees.
