Juniper to Deliver Largest Gin Collection in Las Vegas

Las Vegas (April 26, 2018)– To gin… or not to gin. That’s the tantalizing question tempting Las Vegas travelers at Juniper Cocktail Lounge, now open at Park MGM. Juniper stretches guests’ perception of the familiar at this stylish lounge delving into the possibilities of classic cocktails – whether gin-based or otherwise.

The mixology destination challenges the status quo of mainstay drinks while staying true to the foundation of what makes a great cocktail. Whimsical elements like fortune-telling Gin & Tonics come to life through house-made juices and syrups, a premium selection of spirits and an intense dedication to the craft.

“Juniper Cocktail Lounge brings a different perspective to the Las Vegas lounge with a more progressive cocktail program than people have experienced from such a venue,” said Craig Schoettler, MGM Resorts executive director of beverage and corporate mixologist.

An eclectic soundtrack creates a sophisticated atmosphere that evolves throughout the evening within the Martin Brudnizki-designed space inspired by European garden pavilions and lounges.
Schoettler’s artistry, along with the city’s largest collection of gin, together populate a cocktail repertoire channeling the adventurous spirit of Las Vegas guests with classic drinks presented and prepared in avant-garde fashion.

Juniper Cocktail Lounge is part of MGM Resorts and Sydell Group’s partnership to transform Monte Carlo Resort and Casino into two new distinct hotel experiences: a Las Vegas version of Sydell’s widely acclaimed NoMad Hotel, and a new luxury resort, Park MGM.
Highlights from the Juniper Cocktail Lounge’s menu include:

To Gin…

GnT – Choose Your Own Adventure – Juniper Cocktail Lounge’s Gin & Tonic adds a playful interaction through the childhood-inspired “Fortune Teller” paper game that allows guests to choose the gin and flavor profile to discover the specific Gin & Tonic that’s destined for their palate.

The BIRD – Bluecoat Gin | Strawberry | Dolin Dry Vermouth | Fresh Lemon – If martinis could fly, the result would be The BIRD served in rare glassware to add a dash of whimsy to the classic libation. The mint leaves serve as The BIRD’s tail feathers, delivering a fresh punctuation on the beautiful drink.

Ramos Gin Fizz – Tanqueray Gin | Orange Blossom | Lemon | Lime | Crème | Egg White – Bartenders previously shunned this cocktail due to its legendarily painstaking creation process. Now, the effervescent exile finds a permanent home on Juniper Cocktail Lounge’s menu, where guests don’t have to feel guilty enjoying the shape-shifting, blooming cocktail from the late 19thcentury.

Or Not To Gin…

No Judging – Green Chartreuse | Fresh Pineapple | Fresh Lime | Flaming Mint – Juniper Cocktail Lounge’s blazing take on a Chartreuse Swizzle is served in a dazzling pipe-like glass. The bartender ignites the mint garnish before guests’ eyes to release the aromatics that swirl and intertwine with the acidic flavor combination
Maple Old Fashioned – Whistle Pig 10-year Rye Whiskey | Barrel Aged Maple Syrup | Angostura Bitters – Arguably the fastest growing cocktail in America finds its next iteration at Juniper Cocktail Lounge, with barrel-aged maple syrup exploring new and complementary flavors for the whiskey stronghold.
Set to become a key component of Las Vegas nightlife, Juniper Cocktail Lounge offers its distinct vision of bottle service for guests with an extensive selection of gins, whiskeys, tequilas and rums from around the globe. No sacrifices are made for the large-scale service as patrons have access to some of the world’s finest liquors at their private tables.
Juniper Cocktail Lounge is open Sunday – Thursday from 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. and Friday – Saturday from 5 p.m. – 2 a.m. For more information, call 702-730-7777 or visit Juniper Cocktail Lounge online.
