LAS VEGAS (June 20, 2019) – The biggest names among golf’s social media influencers will gather November 13-15, 2019 for three days of special events and competitive golf during the Park MGM Social Invitational.  Shadow Creek, one of the country’s most exclusive golf courses, will host this spectacular invitation-only golf event.

“We are extremely excited to launch the Social Invitational in Las Vegas at Park MGM and Shadow Creek. This is an opportunity to spend time with an incredible group of ladies, while doing something that will have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of many,” said co-host Paige Spiranac.\

Co-host Holly Sonders said, “Our goal is to celebrate women’s achievements in growing the visibility of the sport of golf, while simultaneously highlighting individual talents in a competitive setting.”

Spiranac, known by fans on Instagram as @_paige.renee, is a golf media personality and social media influencer on a mission to show how much fun golf can be while making a positive impact on the world. She has the most engaging social media following in all of golf and has the second-most followers on Instagram, behind only Tiger Woods. Encouraging women to be themselves, fight for what they believe, and to embrace their true calling in life is extremely important to Spiranac. Through events and clinics, supporting incredible young women, and posting inspirational messages, she hopes to help women not only discover the game of golf but also to feel empowered to achieve their wildest dreams.

Sonders (@holly.sonders) has remained one of the most familiar faces in the Golf community for nearly a decade. She started her career at NBC Golf Channel where she worked on various studio and instructional shows, rapidly becoming one of the network’s most popular personalities through her quick wit and honest opinions. In 2015, she moved to FOX to cover all USGA events. Since that time, her role has expanded to include extensive reporting around the network’s NFL and College Football slate, along with a host of other properties. Beyond her duties with FOX, Sonders is engaged in a variety of projects, both golf-centric and entertainment-based, such as the golf travel show “18 Holes With Jimmy Hanlin.”

Patrick Miller, President and COO of Park MGM, said, “We look forward to hosting this high-profile golf and social media event at Park MGM.  This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our amenities and services, and provide first-class experiences for some of the industry’s top influencers.”

The Park MGM Social Invitational is scheduled to kick off Wednesday, Nov. 13 with a private Pairings Party hosted at the resort. The Pro-Celebrity-Amateur Tournament, which pairs one professional or celebrity with four amateur participants, begins Thursday, Nov. 14 at Shadow Creek and will be followed by an exclusive dinner event and post-dinner party at On The Record Speakeasy and Club. The week will conclude with the final round of the Pro-Celebrity-Amateur Tournament Friday, Nov. 15, with an Awards Ceremony and Reception to follow.
