On The Record at Park MGM Reveals Bartender Residencies
Cocktail masters to guest bartend in speakeasy and club opening December 28
LAS VEGAS (December 10, 2018) – On The Record, Houston Hospitality’s speakeasy and club opening Dec. 28 at Park MGM in Las Vegas, has assembled a team of the country’s top bartenders from both coasts to guest bartend in the venue’s intimate cocktail and music-driven Vinyl Parlor.
Bartenders-in-residency will include Jillian Vose (Dead Rabbit, Manhattan), Alex Day and David Kaplan (Death & Co, Manhattan), Jim Meehan (PDT, Manhattan), Pamela Wiznitzer (Henry at the Life Hotel, Manhattan), Ivy Mix (Leyenda, Brooklyn), Erick Castro (Polite Provisions, San Diego), Kevin Dietrich (P.C.H., San Francisco), Ryan Fitzgerald (ABV, San Francisco), Josh Harris (The Bon Vivants, San Francisco), Simon Ford (Fords Gin), Aaron Polsky (Harvard and Stone, Los Angeles), Leo Robitschek (NoMad, Las Vegas), Daniel Marohnic (Corner Bar Management, Las Vegas) and Tony Abou-Ganim (Las Vegas), among others.

"Interacting directly with guests in such an intimate space, these top beverage professionals will help create an elevated and entertaining cocktail experience that you won’t find anywhere else in the world."
A hidden enclave accommodating up to 25 guests, the Vinyl Parlor will pay homage to Jonnie and Mark Houston’s love of music nostalgia and vinyl, with iconic album covers displayed in wooden wall cases. These special guest bartenders will work behind the room’s petite bar and contribute their own song-inspired cocktails to the seasonal menus, and they will riff to concoct a unique cocktail to cater to a guest’s personal palate or mood.
When he makes his Vinyl Parlor debut on Jan. 11 and 12, Erick Castro will contribute his "Road to Nowhere" cocktail, a concoction of Commerce Gin, lemon juice, pineapple juice, yellow Chartreuese, honey syrup, orange bitters and a couple dashes of Absinthe. Jillian Vose will guest bartend Jan. 18 & 19 when she introduces her "Psycho Killer" cocktail, comprised of Redbreast 12-year-old Irish Whiskey, Absinthe, Campari, Giffard White Creme de Cacao and Giffard Banane.
On The Record is Houston Hospitality’s first Las Vegas venture. Like its Los Angeles hotspots Break Room 86, Black Rabbit Rose, Bronson Bar, No Vacancy, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, and La Descarga, among others, the 11,000-square-foot three-room venue will reflect the Houstons’ signature modern speakeasy atmosphere. Guests can expect the unexpected at the immersive and entertaining hidden club experience which will conjure a feeling of nostalgia inspired by different musical eras.
Driven by the Houstons’ award-winning interior design, On The Record will feature a functioning record store entry, indoor and outdoor spaces, a double-decker bus DJ booth and bar on the patio, hidden karaoke break rooms, and a world-class cocktail program, the Vinyl Parlor, and a world-class cocktail program.
Hours of operation will be Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
