Speakeasy and club’s first-week festivities to include official Lady Gaga after party for megastar’s Park Theater residency debut, Jon Jones UFC title fight after party, New Year’s Eve, and OTR Wednesdays launch

LAS VEGAS (November 29, 2018) – On Friday, Dec. 28, Houston Hospitality’s On The Record speakeasy and club at Park MGM in Las Vegas will celebrate its grand opening by hosting the official Lady Gaga after party following the superstar entertainer’s Park Theater residency debut. On The Record opening week parties will continue with the official Jon Jones UFC fight after party on Saturday, Dec. 29, New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31, and the inaugural OTR Wednesdays weekly industry party on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Five years after one of the most epic battles in UFC history, Jon Jones and Alex Gustafsson face off again on Dec. 29 at T-Mobile Arena. On The Record hosts Jones’ post-fight party after the highly anticipated light heavyweight title match.

New Year’s Eve guests will be treated to a special guest performance (to be announced) and ring in 2019 with an immersive and entertaining nightlife experience unlike any other on The Strip. New Year’s Eve table packages include: “Here’s To Us” ($1,500), includes 750 ml bottle of Virgil Abloh “Off White” Moet Nectar Imperial Rose, Red Bull and Fiji Waters; “The Midnight Kiss ($2,500), magnum bottle of Virgil Abloh “Off White” Moet Nectar Imperial Rose, magnum of Belvedere Vodka, Don Julio 1942 Tequila and Red Bull and Fiji Water; and “The Perfect Party” ($5,000), magnum bottle of Dom Perignon Brut Luminous, magnum of Belvedere Vodka, magnum of Don Julio 1942 Tequila, 12 beers, Red Bull and Fiji Waters.

OTR Wednesdays at Park MGM will offer Las Vegas’ coveted industry crowd a new spin to industry nights on The Strip. Locals can get their pre-party on at Roy Choi’s new Best Friend restaurant for dedicated food and specialty drink items. Keeping it “in the neighborhood,” guests can stroll mere steps within Park MGM to On The Record where they will experience Jonnie and Mark Houston’s signature modern speakeasy atmosphere and elevated craft cocktail program. Las Vegas hospitality industry guests with a local ID will enjoy no admission fee, drink specials and other exclusive offerings.

Conjuring a feeling of nostalgia inspired by different musical eras, the 11,000-square-foot three-room venue will be a hidden club experience driven by the Houstons’ award-winning interior design. A functioning record store entry, indoor and outdoor spaces, a double-decker bus DJ booth and patio bar, hidden karaoke break rooms, an intimate Vinyl Parlor, and a world-class cocktail program will be among the venue’s features.

On The Record will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
