MGM Springfield today announced it has added 75 new postings representing more than 1,000 jobs to the resort’s website. There are about 2,400 open positions for hire today at MGM Springfield. This is the largest employment posting by the new resort, and one of the single largest hiring efforts in Springfield history. MGM Springfield will employ 3,000 employees when the $960 million luxury resort opens on August 24, 2018 in downtown Springfield.
MCCTI Gaming School, the first in the Commonwealth, opened in downtown Springfield. Registration is ongoing with seats available for classes starting in April, May and June. The courses are geared toward those interested in beginning a career with MGM Springfield, the Commonwealth’s first luxury resort and entertainment destination, but do not yet have experience or training as table game dealers. MGM Springfield will hire 450 table games and poker dealers to open the resort on August 24, 2018.
