SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (December 21, 2018) – MGM Springfield is rolling out the red carpet for New Year’s Eve, capping off its historic opening year in style. The luxury resort will ring in 2019 with a series of celebrations featuring lavish food offerings, exciting entertainment and one-of-a-kind happenings throughout the day and night.
Boasting an unrivaled setting, “First Night at The Armory” will treat guests to an extravagant, black-tie affair featuring a live band and open bar. Revelers will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations including a gourmet macaroni and cheese bar, raw bar and liquid nitrogen ice cream sundae bar, creatively prepared by the renowned chefs at The Farm Table at Kringle Candle. As the clock strikes midnight, guests will come together for a champagne toast as they watch the famed ball drop in Times Square on the 27-foot outdoor Armory marquee. Commonwealth Bar and Lounge will host a bash that partygoers won’t want to miss. Starting at 8 p.m., “Vintage New Year’s Eve” will heat up the nightlife hub that’s been fashionably designed to look and feel like an old-school haberdashery. Tickets are $150 per person and include a four-hour open bar featuring Commonwealth’s signature drinks such as “Choose Your Own Adventure” and “#FakeNews.” Exclusive New Year’s Eve table packages, including bottles of Moet & Chandon Imperial Champagne and Belvedere Vodka, are available starting at $2,000. At TAP Sports Bar, guests are invited to toast 2019 with lively beats, craft brews and kitchen favorites such as Beer Cheese Nachos and The Armory Burger from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. VIP and lane-side bowling packages will be available starting at $350 and include one complimentary bottle of Chandon Brut NV for a midnight champagne toast. Visitors looking for an unparalleled dining experience can reserve a table at The Chandler Steakhouse or Cal Mare. Both restaurants will serve specialty menus highlighting the creative flair of their executive chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.
