Her career began with positions at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and a Florida marine park before moving to Las Vegas. Wise currently oversees a family of bottlenose dolphins as a Lead Dolphin Care Specialist at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage. The Dolphin Habitat’s primary goal is to ensure the highest quality of animal care, which includes implementing high levels of physical and mental stimulation every day.In an effort to expand their stimulation activities, Wise developed an interactive program called Painting with the Dolphins. This hands-on experience allows guests to collaborate with dolphins in producing unique masterpieces of art while also providing the dolphins with another avenue to mentally challenge and engage with both trainers and guests.
