Snack Wagon Pop-Up Series at Harvest by Roy Ellamar

Each month during this fun pop-up culinary series, a guest chef takes over one of Harvest by Roy Ellamar’s signature snack wagons, offering their own specialty small bites as they travel table-to-table to chat with diners. The interactive series gives culinary aficionados the opportunity to taste a variety of dishes and mingle with their favorite chefs.

Lobby Bar at ARIA will offer a special Mother’s Day edition of Afternoon Tea from May 10 – 12. Upon arrival, guests will receive a glass of sparkling wine to kick off the experience. On Sunday, along with with their choice of tea service, there will be takeaway gifts, music, photo opportunities and even a display of Fascinator hats, in partnership with one-of-a-kind hat couture creator Louisa Voisine Millinery, for guests to purchase.

Mama Rabbit Bar to Open at Park MGM this Summer

James Beard Award-winner Bricia Lopez has joined forces with Park MGM to celebrate the culture and spirit of Oaxaca – the birthplace of mezcal – with the debut of Mama Rabbit Bar in late July. Fusing the dynamic atmosphere of a Mexican tavern with the intimate and sexy allure of a speakeasy, Mama Rabbit will become Las Vegas’ definitive mezcal-and-tequila destination. Mama Rabbit will feature Las Vegas’ largest collection of tequila and mezcal, highlighting a wide range of Mexican flavors.

Details about Mama Rabbit’s design, beverage and culinary programs will be shared in the coming months, leading up to the venue’s opening this summer.

Juniper Cocktail Lounge Introduces New Cocktail Class
Juniper Cocktail Lounge at Park MGM is giving cocktail connoisseurs and novices alike the chance to get behind the bar and become a mixology maven during the lounge’s new Juniper Cocktail Lab series. This interactive monthly mixology course is led by a member of MGM Resorts’ talented Food & Beverage team. In addition to the course and three cocktails, each participant will receive a souvenir booklet of the curriculum along with a mixology kit, complete with a shaker, strainer, jigger, tweezers, a citrus peeler and bar spoon.

Celebrate authentic Italian staples during Pasta e Pizza Weeks at Eataly Las Vegas. Shop the marketplace for fresh and dried pasta, enjoy special dishes throughout the restaurants and don’t miss a Pizza e Pasta Pop-Up at Eataly’s Chef’s Table on May 18 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. featuring Cacio e Pepe in a cone, Trofie al Pesto and Pizzette Fritte.

Death & Co Cocktail Book Signing at Juniper Cocktail Lounge
Death & Co, the notable New York-based cocktail institution, will host a special pop-up book signing event at Juniper Cocktail Lounge. Guests can purchase Death & Co’s signature libations as well as partake in an exclusive book signing with the lounge’s co-owners and authors of Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails, David Kaplan and Alex Day. The book is a definitive guide to the contemporary craft cocktail movement, with recipes of Death & Co’s most iconic beverages.

Pop-Up Beverage Experiences at On The Record
On The Record, Houston Hospitality’s speakeasy and club at Park MGM, has assembled a fun line-up of the country’s top beverage experts to host pop-up experiences in the venue’s intimate cocktail and music-driven Vinyl Parlor. This month, guests can taste signature cocktails from Mama Rabbit’s cultural consultant Bricia Lopez and Death & Co. bartenders David Kaplan and Alex Day. Details below:

Reggae Sundays at the Park MGM Pool
Reggae Sundays offer poolside reggae music, dancing and specialty food and beverage offerings every Sunday at Park MGM. Hotel guests can sip on craft cocktails like the Jamaican Ten Speed with Skyy vodka, Malibu coconut rum, melon and banana liqueurs and orange and cranberry juice ($16) or the Dark n Stormy made with Gosling’s Black Seal rum, Gosling’s ginger beer and lime juice. Savory bites including Grilled Jerk Chicken Skewers with sweet and tangy fruit relish ($16), Jamaican Beef Patties with mango chutney ($16) and Fried Plantain Chips with salsa and guacamole ($14) also will be available.

Project Dinner Table

Project Dinner Table will host this month’s feast at The Park. The evening will begin with a social hour across the street at The NoMad Pool at NoMad Las Vegas followed by a multi-course dinner under the stars near Bliss Dance at The Park. A percentage of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish ® Southern Nevada.

Back of the House Brawl
Back of the House Brawl, the popular local food truck cooking competition, makes its Las Vegas Strip debut at The Park. The fun, late-night culinary series features some of the city’s most talented chefs as each team battles to create two unique dishes in 30 minutes using secret ingredients.

The series continues Thursday, May 18 at 9 p.m., with drinks and bites available for purchase from popular food truck vendors, followed by a midnight mixology battle and the cooking competition at 1 a.m.

Picnic at The Park will offer creative twists on classic, al fresco dining perfectly paired with beer, wine curated by Master Sommelier Jason Smith and cocktails selected by Corporate Mixologist Craig Schoettler. Located on the Las Vegas Strip, this outdoor experience lets you enjoy a fun, interactive afternoon of picnicking with celebrated chefs.

Join the Border Grill chefs, Andy Baraghani of Bon Appétit, and host Whembley Sewell, for a smokin’ good time on the outdoor patio at Border Grill at Mandalay Bay as a variety of meats, plant-based proteins, and veggies get smoked, grilled, and slow cooked to perfection at interactive stations.

BELLAGIO
Hyde Closure

Bellagio will welcome a new venue to the resort’s award-winning portfolio this winter. The concept will open in the Hyde Bellagio space, which will close after service on Saturday, July 6. Details on the new resort offering will be shared in the coming months. 

FIX Restaurant and Bar Closed on Mondays
Effective immediately, FIX Restaurant and Bar will be closed on Mondays. For other dining options, guests and visitors are encouraged to visit the resort’s other venues including Sadelle’s, MICHAEL MINA Bellagio, Spago, Le Cirque, Harvest by Roy Ellamar, Picasso, Lago by Julian Serrano, Jasmine, Noodles or Snacks.  

 

MGM GRAND
MGM Grand to Welcome New Italian Restaurant

MGM Grand will welcome a new Italian restaurant concept to the resort’s culinary portfolio this summer. The venue will replace FiAMMA Italian Kitchen, which is now closed. Details on the new concept will be shared in the coming months.

China Tang’s New Hours of Operation
Effective immediately, China Tang’s new hours of operation are as follows:

  • Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: 5 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Diablo’s Cantina also will host a special Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with classic dishes like Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo and Egg Tacos and Steak and Eggs.

Tequila Mania

Experience South of the Border fun at Tequila Mania at The Park. There will be live mariachi music; authentic street tacos; and elotes all served up with your choice of tequila. In addition to the Cinco de Mayo festivities, a Street Taco Battle between the chefs from New York-New York and The Park’s restaurants will take place. Guests can vote for their favorites on social media to crown the winner. MICHAEL MINA Bellagio’s new Executive Chef Nick Dugan has rolled out the restaurant’s spring menu with seasonal additions including Foie Gras Torchan, with sumac, rhubarb, anise streusel and toasted brioche ($32), Alaskan Halibut with savoy cabbage, grilled kalettes, ginger vinaigrette and puffed grains ($55) and a 16-oz Dry-Aged New York Strip Steak with crispy Idaho potatoes, creamy spinach and sauce Perigourdine ($72).
