Monte Carlo Resort & Casino Becomes ‘Park MGM’ in First Half of 2018
LAS VEGAS (November 2017) – Previewing the new resort under development in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and New York-based Sydell Group recently unveiled guestroom designs for Park MGM.

Along with The NoMad Las Vegas, Park MGM is one of two distinct hotel experiences set to debut in what has quickly become The Strip’s most magnetic neighborhood. Partners MGM Resorts and Sydell Group are in the process of transforming every element of Monte Carlo Resort & Casino to create the new destination, with the official rebrand of Park MGM slated for the first half of 2018.

Blending classic European style with a modern sensibility, Park MGM’s design will pay homage to the resort’s legacy while cultivating a distinctive sense of place infused with local inspiration.
Select Park MGM preview rooms – offering an early glimpse into the Park MGM experience – are now available for reservation via or 888-529-4828.

Complementing the modern luxury of the resort, Park MGM’s guestrooms will feel residential in both design and comfort. Furnished with a mélange of bespoke touches, antique-inspired pieces, ‘found’ objects and unexpected artwork, each guestroom will evoke the essence of a private metropolitan apartment.
Park MGM King and Park MGM Queen accommodations – spanning 400 square feet – will feature flourishes of color in a signature primary palette of red or green – hues inspired by the stunning cacti blooms and succulents found in the surrounding Nevada desert. Boldly painted alcoves, sumptuous upholsteries, lacquered finishes and custom tiles will imbue layered shades and saturations of the color scheme throughout each space.

The centerpiece of each guestroom will be an expansive picture window with built-in settee. Each cozy nook will offer stunning valley view backdrops and intimate pockets of seating perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Scattered accent pillows and plush cushions will impart an authentic design sensibility one would expect to find at home. The main living spaces will feature rustic-luxe pieces including tufted leather armchairs and oval walnut tables that double as a workspace or cocktail table.

Key Features Throughout Collection:
  • Eclectic Artwork – Envisioned by Paris-based creative studio be-pôles, an assemblage of captivating artwork will highlight each guestroom. Collections will encompass the whimsical feeling of a personal gallery with photographs, mixed media pieces, postcards and found objects that draw inspiration from far-flung travels, bygone eras and striking natural landscapes.
  • Smart Amenities – Park MGM guestrooms will be equipped with built-in technologies that elevate the guest experience without detracting from aesthetics. Illuminated mirrors with embedded power portals will adorn both the bathroom and living space to accommodate multiple guests, allowing them to get ready simultaneously. On the back of the settee, guests also will find an inset connectivity hub providing convenience for both personal and workspace needs.
  • Stay Well at Park MGM – The Stay Well Hotel Program will shape one floor of Park MGM’s guestrooms, allowing guests to rejuvenate with signature offerings including energizing lighting, dawn simulator alarm clocks, long wave night lighting, air purification systems, contouring support memory foam mattresses, shower infusers and more.
In addition to Park MGM, a Las Vegas version of Sydell’s widely acclaimed NoMad Hotel will launch as a boutique luxury experience within the resort later in 2018. New guestrooms and common spaces will be joined by food and beverage experiences unique to the Las Vegas market, including the award-winning NoMad restaurant by Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara; Hogsalt’s renowned steakhouse Bavette’s; Primrose, a new South of France-inspired concept; Eataly’s lively Italian marketplace and eateries, and more.  [Anchor] The launch of Park MGM and The NoMad Las Vegas will mark the completion of MGM Resorts’ new neighborhood at the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard featuring The Park, an outdoor dining and entertainment district, and the award-winning 20,000-seat
T-Mobile Arena.
