NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (October 24, 2016) – Singer, songwriter and producer Lionel Richie will perform his greatest hits at The Theater at MGM National Harbor Thursday, Dec. 22 at 9 p.m. The award-winning music legend will be one of the first entertainers to take the stage at the new state-of-the-art entertainment venue at MGM National Harbor. The $1.4 billion resort and casino opened December 8.
The Theater at MGM National Harbor offers an experience unlike any other in the region, providing fans the opportunity to see world-class entertainment in an intimate setting. The new venue features seven VIP suites and flexible seating designs, accommodating 3,000 guests for reserved-seating events and just over 4,000 for general admission shows.

Lionel Richie, known for his honest lyrics and immortal voice that solidified him as an international superstar, has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. His storied career runs from his time with legendary band The Commodores to his 10-album solo catalog. From 2013 to 2015, fans flocked to cities and festivals worldwide to see his All The Hits, All Night Long tour, including Bonnaroo, Life Is Beautiful and Glastonbury, which enjoyed its largest crowd in history for his 2015 headlining set.
