Opening weekend DJ lineup to include Academy-Award winner Mark Ronson spinning Saturday, April 13

LAS VEGAS (March 6, 2019) -- JEMAA - The NoMad Pool Party, a seductive and elevated weekend pool party experience in partnership with Sydell Group and Make It Nice, will make its long-awaited debut on Friday, April 12 at NoMad Las Vegas at Park MGM.

The opening weekend DJ lineup will include Mayer Hawthorne on Friday, April 12, Academy-Award winning hitmaker Mark Ronson on Saturday, April 13, and DJ Five closing out the weekend on Sunday, April 14.

“We couldn’t think of a better artist to christen JEMAA - The NoMad Pool Party than Mark,” said Sean Christie, President of Events and Nightlife for MGM Resorts International. “Having just won the trifecta with Oscar, GRAMMYs and Golden Globe Awards for ‘Shallow,’ he will help set the tone for the caliber of artists to be expected during JEMAA’s inaugural season.”

Taking place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, JEMAA will reflect NoMad’s trademark style and luxurious guest experience combined with an energized and fun daytime party atmosphere supported by nuanced music programming.

In partnership with JEMAA, the MGM Nightlife & Events team will curate music programming each weekend throughout the pool party season to include, among others, artists and DJ’s who appear at On The Record, the speakeasy and club at Park MGM.

JEMAA’s unparalleled food and beverage offerings will set it apart from other pool parties on The Strip. The team behind the NoMad has created JEMAA’s menu of whimsical poolside plates, including the Humm dog, shrimp tacos and fried chicken. The beverage menu curated by award-winning Bar Director Leo Robitschek will include jaw-dropping cabana-side cocktail fountains and elaborately garnished cocktails.

“Cabanas and drinks are an essential part of the Las Vegas experience,” says Robitschek. “With JEMAA, however, we’re putting our mark on the tradition by bringing our playful, thoughtfully crafted cocktails to the day pool scene.”

Locals with a valid Nevada identification will enjoy complimentary entry into JEMAA before noon. For tickets, table and cabana reservations, visit The NoMad Pool opens to the public on Monday, April 8.
