Comedian Vicki Barbolak Added To
MGM Springfield’s Roar! Comedy Series

“America’s Funniest Mom” to Perform Three Shows in February

SPRINGFIELD, MASS (December 11, 2018) – MGM Springfield and John Tobin Presents announced today that comedian Vicki Barbolak has been added to the Roar! Comedy Series lineup inside the historic Armory at MGM Springfield. Barbolak will perform three shows February 8-10.

With 20 years of experience as a stand-up comedian, Barbolak draws out laughs by sharing stories about her own life – from working in a family carpet business owned by her dad to dueling with ex-husbands and raising two kids while living in California. She is best known as “America’s Funniest Mom” from her 2007 win on the Roseanne Barr hosted Nickelodeon show of the same moniker. In earning this title, Barbolak was hired as one of Barr’s writers and later opened for the popular entertainer’s shows at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

In 2010, Barbolak was selected for the Jay Leno Laugh Squad, and in September 2011 was featured as an “expert in joke telling” in Family Circle Magazine’s “How to Do Anything Better” story. On the film and television side, Barbolak was featured in the film “Pickin and Grinnin,” and has appeared in several independent films as well as on the TBS sitcom “Minding The Store.”

The Roar! Comedy Series, a unique comedy experience developed by John Tobin Presents, opens January 2019 inside the Armory at MGM Springfield. Tickets for every show are available now through Ticketmaster.
