Bellagio completes $40 million room and suite remodel in resort's Spa Tower
AAA Five Diamond Resort Enhances Guest Experience With Redesigned Accommodations and New Suite Concept
LAS VEGAS (February 27, 2013)
Elevating the guest experience at one of the world’s most iconic resorts, Bellagio recently completed the remodel of all 928 rooms
in its Spa Tower.
Additionally, the resort introduced three new Executive Parlor Suites designed with entertainment and technology in mind. The 2,500-square-foot suites each feature a billiards lounge and separate high-tech home theater living area inviting guests to host intimate, yet interactive events in a vibrant setting.
“The completion of the Spa Tower remodel marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the Bellagio guest experience,” said Randy Morton, president and chief operating officer of Bellagio. “We continue to seek ways not only to create new experiences and fresh spaces, but also to maintain the superior Five Diamond service synonymous with Bellagio.”
Created by the talented MGM Resorts International Design Group, the new Spa Tower Resort Rooms
are consistent with the three designs represented in Bellagio’s main tower. The Resort King Rooms feature an indigo and silver combination or a green tea and plum palette while the Resort Queen Rooms welcome guests with an amber and butterscotch motif.
In keeping with Bellagio’s commitment to sustainability, the newly remodeled Resort Rooms incorporate environmentally responsible elements, including energy-efficient lighting in corridors and guest rooms providing 60 percent greater efficiency; organic carpeting primarily made from wool and furniture made from eucalyptus, both renewable resources; a new double towel bar in the bathroom for increased ability to dry and reuse towels; and a 180 percent improvement in air circulation from the previous room.
In addition to 819 Resort King and Resort Queen guest rooms, the Spa Tower features a selection of more than 100 newly redesigned suites including a new class of 2,500-square-foot Executive Parlor Suites.
The newly launched Executive Parlor Suites
provide a versatile space ideal for entertaining and socializing, while maintaining a sense of privacy and luxury. This suite features an open plan spotlighted by a billiards table with a dedicated media lounge adjacent to the main room. A warm combination of earthtones including caramel brown, buttery gold, bronze, persimmon and red create an aura of strength and vitality energizing this playful space.
The Executive Parlor Suites feature the latest technology including high-definition digital TVs and surround sound throughout the suite. Certain to keep guests entertained, the suites offer a range of entertainment options including an Xbox® and Blu-ray Disc™ player and a one-touch Creston® remote system to seamlessly control all technology.
The 850-square-foot Salone Suites
make the most of an asymmetrical open floor plan with large windows overlooking the Las Vegas skyline, with many featuring a direct view of the Fountains of Bellagio. A full-size sectional and lounge chair form the living area in addition to upholstered club chairs that create an intimate dining area for two. To further enhance the romantic ambiance, designers used a combination of pearl grey, deep turquoise and kiwi green that appeals to both feminine and masculine style preferences.
The 1,000-square-foot one-bedroom Bellagio Suite
features a dedicated living/entertainment area with a separate master suite. Blending shades of cerulean blue and marigold edged with crème and silver, this suite is ahead of hospitality and home living trends. The furniture is transitional in detail, with a touch of contemporary accents and finishes combined with natural wood tones.
The Penthouse Suites
in the Spa Tower range from 1,500 - 2,000 square feet and feature a larger space for entertaining. Encompassing a classic urban sophistication, the one-bedroom Penthouse offers a combination of emerald green mingled with copper, ash black and linen white. Carpet and fabric patterns are vintage classics, including lattice, hounds tooth and trellis designs. Textures range from rich woven copper wall coverings to plush fur throws.
The two-bedroom Penthouse Suite
features plumeria, indigo blue and silver moonlight tones to reveal its refinement. More subtle use of color in this suite communicates an aura of relaxation that is inviting to the senses. The deeper wood tones of the furnishings, accented by metallic details, provide warmth and sparkle.
Offering the ultimate in luxury living, Bellagio refreshed its 4,000-square-foot Presidential and Chairman Suites.
Guests enter these suites by crossing a suspended walkway that floats above a reflecting pool. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the city and a soaring 14-foot ceiling offers a dramatic and inviting entry. These ultra-exclusive suites feature a fireplace, L-shaped bar with seating for six and a private solarium with a garden and fountain – ideal for reading or sipping a glass of wine. A separate room, complete with butler pantry, is multi-faceted and can be utilized as a boardroom or dining room with formal seating for 10. Two master bedrooms each with king beds, private bathrooms featuring whirlpool tubs with views of the city, and separate steam showers round out the living space.
Ensuring guests enjoy a restful night’s sleep, each of the redesigned rooms features the luxurious Bellagio at Home™ mattress, developed by Serta®. The cashmere-covered mattress provides continuous support and temperature adjustment throughout the sleep cycle, making guests feel as comfortable at Bellagio as they would in their own home. All suites in the Spa Tower feature the newly created Suite Life mattress by Serta offering the ultimate in comfort and rest.
The $40 million Spa Tower remodel began in August 2012 and took five months to complete. This marks the conclusion of the hotel’s redesign of all 3,387 Resort Rooms which also included the recent $70 million Bellagio Tower remodel.
