MGM Resorts International's Beau Rivage Awarded AAA Four Diamond Rating for the Thirteenth Consecutive Year

BILOXI, Miss. – January 2015 – The Automobile Association of America (AAA), one of the country’s most respected authorities on travel and hospitality, has once again awarded Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, the prestigious (AAA) Four Diamond Award. MGM Resorts International’s Mississippi Gulf Coast resort has won the honor every year since 2002.

The AAA Four Diamond Award distinction represents Beau Rivage’s ongoing commitment to excellence and hospitality. Awarded only to those establishments who significantly exceed AAA requirements, Beau Rivage is a part of just 3.9 percent of the more than 58,000 hotels and restaurants inspected by AAA. “Four Diamond hotels and restaurants provide guests with a personalized experience and attentive service in comfortable, high quality surroundings,” said Don Redman, spokesman for AAA-Mississippi. “These establishments consistently exceed the expectations of the most discriminating traveler – the AAA inspector. We are proud to have these dedicated businesses in our state.”

According to AAA, the fundamental hallmarks at this level include a property “stylish and refined with upscale physical attributes,” where guests can receive “personalized attention from an experienced staff, and an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of service, and attention to detail.” AAA inspectors judge the exterior of the lodging, public areas, guest rooms, amenities and bathrooms scrutinizing such areas as cleanliness, ambiance and service.

Additionally, two of Beau Rivage’s iconic restaurants, BR Prime and Jia, were also awarded AAA Four Diamond awards. Each has maintained their Four Diamond rating since 2008. Only 2.3 percent of the nearly 30,000 restaurants approved by AAA receive the Four Diamond rating.

“The AAA Four Diamond designation symbolizes our commitment to providing a premier travel experience to all of our guests by consistently exceeding expectations, offering quality accommodations and exceptional customer service,” said George P. Corchis, Jr., President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Resorts Southern Operations.
