Fallen Oak Prepares for the Return of the PGA TOUR Champions Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic

Tom Fazio-Designed Masterpiece Readies for Legends Of The Game

BILOXI, Miss. (Jan. 1, 2017) When legendary architect Tom Fazio designed Fallen Oak, he did so intending to create a must-play golfing sanctuary. Because he was so successful with this mission in the minds of golfers fortunate enough to play the highly regarded track, MGM Resort International’s spectacular gulf coast course continues to reap one of the rarest honors available: playing host to a PGA TOUR Champions event. Now in its eighth consecutive year and one of just 26 Charles Schwab Cup events, the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic is scheduled to return to the coast March 30-April 2.
“The PGA TOUR Champions players always enjoy coming to the Mississippi Gulf Coast with its great food, fans and hospitality,” said Chairman of the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic Foundation Frank Bertucci. “This tournament is a great opportunity for our community to showcase the outstanding assets on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We continue to strive to make this tournament one of the most favorite stops by the PGA TOUR Champions players on the annual schedule.”
