Beau Rivage Chefs Host Lunch & Learn at The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center

Biloxi, Miss. – July 25, 2015 - Beau Rivage’s award-winning culinary team under the direction of Executive Chef Kristian Wade and Executive Sous Chef James Balster will provide cooking lessons each Thursday as part of The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center’s popular Lunch & Learn series which returns on August 13.

Every Tuesday-Friday, guests, locals and area foodies are invited to connect with a great line-up of local culinary experts for a lunchtime filled with cooking demonstrations, lessons and conversation.
Beau Rivage chefs volunteer their time every Thursday to prepare a delicious meal and teach participants the art of cooking while helping raise money for the cultural center. The August 2015 schedule is as follows:

Aug 13: Terrace Cafe Chef Josef Straub

Aug 20: Assistant Pastry Chef Amy Guterba

Aug 27: Coast Restaurant Chef Sarah Cormier

Lunches are held in the Mary C. Culinary Arts Café and feature a gourmet meal, interactive cooking demonstration and take-home recipes. Lunch is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and costs $12 per person.

The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center is located at 1600 Government Street in Ocean Springs. Proceeds from the Lunch & Learn series support The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center whose mission is to inspire citizens to engage in arts, culture and education, while serving as stewards of the landmark 1927 public school building located at 1600 Government Street in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
