LAS VEGAS (January 22, 2014) – Sky Suites at ARIA Resort & Casino and SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino have received the esteemed 2014 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award, maintaining their status among the country’s premier luxury hotel destinations. To celebrate this distinguished honor, ARIA will host the 2014 Forbes Travel Guide Awards ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m.
The Five-Star Award is the highest rating bestowed by the luxury publication and has been the gold standard in the hospitality industry since 1958. In order to earn the prominent accolade, hotels must exceed guest expectations in several key areas including offering preeminent service and creating an exceptional experience.
Both Sky Suites and SKYLOFTS have retained their Five-Star status since first receiving the award in 2013 and 2010, respectively.
“Earning the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award for a second year is a tremendous honor for our team and a testament to the impeccable level of service we consistently provide,” said Paul Berry, vice president of hotel operations at ARIA. “We are extremely pleased to host the awards ceremony and reception this year at ARIA and look forward to opening up our home to our colleagues who represent some of the finest destinations around the world.”
Lezlie Young, vice president of SKYLOFTS said, “Preserving our position as a leading hotel is what our team strives for every day and we are delighted to maintain our status among the country’s most elite destinations.”
